The first episode of the Bitcoinist Podcast focuses on the Consensus Roundtable, The Rudimental, a Burger King that accepts Bitcoin, and more! This show talks about some of the regulatory issues of Bitcoin as well as cool applications of Blockchain technology and Bitcoin adoption. The Burger King that will accept Bitcoin will be located in the Bitcoin City located in the Netherlands in which most merchants in the area accept Bitcoin payments. This is significant because it is a mainstream business that could lead to the increase of similar businesses integrating Bitcoin. Franchises are often under strict rules from corporate regarding what freedoms and deviations they are permitted and many don’t actually have the ability to change payment systems or accept alternate currencies such as Bitcoin.
The second episode of the show was recently published and features remote hosting and file storage through the blockchain, the release of the raspberry pie 3, and custom computer mods. With a focus on tech and blockchain technology, this is a very informative and entertaining episode of the show.
The podcast has guests lined up for interviews and additional content that goes beyond Bitcoin itself as the first two episodes have done.
Tyson O’Ham, host of the Bitcoinist.net podcast comments on the show and plans for the future:
“We’re trying to make accessible, entertaining and hopefully informative for people interested in cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies, not just bitcoin. We’ve got interviews scheduled with people in the bitcoin and cryptocurrency world that should be interesting.”
